Abstract Details
Purpose:
To analyse anatomical results with anterior OCT Visante, after implantation of INCISE® IOL after 2.0 mm MICS (micro incision cataract surgery)
Setting:
Ophthalmic Unit S. Bassiano Hospital, Bassano del Grappa (VI), Italy
Methods:
26 eyes of 26 patients were implanted with Incise™ IOL all eyes underwent 2.0 MICS. IOL SE power ranged from 18 to 25D. All patients underwent anterior segment measure of the IOL position with anterior segment OCT Visante™ at the 1st and 6th months after surgery. The distance between IOL optical plate and endothelial corneal apex was measure after 1st and 6th months.
Results:
The mean post operative distance of the optical plate after the 1st month was 3,86 ±0,31 mm, and after the 6th months was 3,69±0,33 mm
Conclusions:
The post-operative effective lens position is very predictable with Incise™ IOL. This means that the A constant was correctly calculated and the IOL stay stable into the capsular bag with a good refractive results predictability, avoiding post operative refractive surprising results.
