Abstract Details

Purpose:

Which of these medicines (Lorazepam , Zolpidem , NSAID “Brophen”) will decrease pain relating to Lasek Surgery and their comparison to placebo.

Setting:

Which of these medicines (Lorazepam , Zolpidem , NSAID “Brophen”) will decrease pain relating to Lasek Surgery and their comparison to placebo.

Methods:

There is 5 groups in this research in which there is 30 people . Lorazepam is advised to group (A) , Zolpidem is advised to group (B) , Brophen (NSAID) is advised to group C , Dicloptin drop is advised to group D and Placebo is advised to group E after Lasek Surgery.

Results:

We can conclude that Brophen (NSAID) is the best one in terms of decreasing pain based on pain level and the quality of decreasing pain . Lorazepam , Zolpidem , and Dicloptin drop are in the same level after that. How ever , the preference of lorazepam and zolpidem to dicloptin is that it won’t delay healing process of epitelium. Also , results relating to placebo are wonderful , asyou see in above table.

Conclusions:

Brophen (NSAID) is the best choise in patients without contraindication. It cab be advised as a compound to lorazepam and zolpidem in order to decrease pain and increase comfort and relaxation for patients after Lasek Surgery.
