Abstract Details
Purpose:
A study of meaningful relation between people with Arcus Senilis and TG and Chelostrole in different ages.
Setting:
A study of meaningful relation between people with Arcus Senilis and TG and Chelostrole in different ages.
Methods:
There are 4 groups as A,B,C and D in which has been diagnosed arcus senilis during examination by slit lomb in this research. Also , TG level and chelostrole have been measured as well.
A synchronic study of TG , Total chelostrole , LDL , HDL , and cardiovascular problems are shown in the following table.
Group A : Patients below 20 (Age)
Group B : Patients between 20-40 (Age)
Group C : Patients between 40-60 (Age)
Group D : Patients over 60 (Age)
Results:
According to this study if we observed arcus senilis during examination by slit lomb , we would study Hx and TG level and blood chelostrole , and then , would ask patient to consult a cardiologist.
This sampling must carry out by more sensivity specially in patients below 40 (age).
However , it would be important in all other ages.
Conclusions:
Based on this study patient must be exposed to blood test relating to Hx , TG and chelostrole immediately after observing arcus senilis and consulted to cardiologist as it is necessary.
It is more sensitive and important in patients below 40 (age) , but it is recommended in other all ages.
