Setting:
Enaim Medical Center, Tel-Aviv, Israel
Methods:
31 patients: 24 female 7 male, Age 48 - 58y (mean 51.5y), SE Dominant +1.79 D 0.9 SD [(+ 0.5) – (+ 2.75)], SE Non dominant +2.03 D 0.9 SD [(+0.5) – (+3.5)], Dominant - Visual acuity (SC), Distance: mean 0.3 decimal: 6/20, Near: Less J12, Non Dominant - Visual acuity (SC), Distance mean 0.27 decimal: 6/24, Near: Less J10
One eye underwent enhancement for distance.
Results:
First 6-18 Months Follow Up. All of the operations were done by the same surgeon (Ami Hirsh).
REFRACTIONS: SE Dominant -0.6 D [(0) - (-1.25)], SE Non dominant -0.75 D [(0) - (-1.75)]
VISUAL ACUITY: Dominant - Visual acuity (SC): mean 0.77 decimal: 6/7.5-, Non Dominant - Visual acuity (SC): mean 0.53 decimal: 6/12, BE Visual acuity SC, Distance: SC mean0.8 decimal: 6/7.5, Near: J1+ - J4
