Abstract Details
Purpose:
Description of a new corneal excimerlaser-surgery to correct presbyopia with LASIK binocular simultaneously.
Setting:
City Center Weinheim
Methods:
Bilateral simultaneous LASIK. Correcting to Zero with the dominant eye and correcting -1.5 Diopters anisometropia on the non-dominant eye. Overview over one year with 50 eyes: 28 hyperopic and 22 myopic eyes.
Results:
Good stability, safety and predictability were seen. Complications in some cases are the anisometropia. Therefore about 10 % enhancements.
Conclusions:
Combination of the Advantage of micro-monovision increased depth of field seems to be a good solution to correct presbyopic eyes. FINANCIAL INTEREST: NONE
