Abstract Details

Purpose:

To study manifestations of a posterior capsule opacification after a phakoemulsifikation.

Setting:

S.Pazniak, RDYP «МТZ Мedservice», Minsk, Belarus

Methods:

patients at whom the refraction lensektomiya or a cataract phakoemulsifikation are executed. Researches included patients without accompanying eye or system diseases both without operational and after operational complications. The total of the operated made 1125 patients (1420 eyes) which middle age was 48,8±2,9 years, from them 612 women, 513 men. The operation technique standard, is executed on ACCURUS(ALCON). IOL ALCON and RAYNER were implanted.

Results:

during the carried-out surgeries practically patients of had a visual acuity increase to 0,82±0,09. During supervision decrease in visual acuity at some patients is established. They were connected with posterior capsule opacification. There were no reliable changes of a back capsule after implantation of the negative hydrophilic IOL, the greatest percent of capsulotomiya from total of the operated patients was observed at patients with hydrophilic IOL (8,87-14,7%). At patients with hydrophobic IOL the smaller frequency of laser capsulotomiya (6,81%) is noted twice. For the proof the method of infrared spectroscopy was attracted. We paid attention design of negative IOL Rayner where gaptic acts from a lens body, forming between a surface and a lens body a right angle. At patients from this IOL posterior capsule opacification wasn't noted.

Conclusions:

It is established that implantation of acrylic hydrophobic intraocular lenses causes less intensive turbidity of a back capsule of a crystalline lens, distinction in IK an absorption range in long-wave area cause qualitative distinctions of hydrophobic and hydrophilic acryle, distinctions in design of negative and positive IOL can make a contribution to the frequency of opacification of a back capsule of a crystalline lens after a phakoemulsifikation.
