Abstract Details

Purpose:

To provide information and helping doctors and technicians to understand the technique of the ophthalmic ultrasound and interpret the ultrasound images.

Setting:

King Khalid Eye Specialist Hospital in Saudi Arabia

Methods:

Demonstrate the equipment and the physics and Patient set up before starting the exam and understanding the probe behavior, showing a video of the technique, showing clinical and digital images of ophthalmic pathology.

Results:

Potential for teaching and learning to use the ophthalmic ultrasound to diagnose

Conclusions:

The attendees of this presentation will be able to understand physics, probe heavier, basic technique, interpret ultrasound images, localize pathologies, lesion, obtaining the best possible images for diagnosis, accurate measurement, reporting and they will be able to do clinical practice.
