Abstract Details
Purpose:
It is aimed to present a possible new method for stabilization of Ahmed valve in glaucoma
Setting:
Harran University School of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology, Sanliurfa, Turkey
Methods:
After conjunctival dissection, it is performed two scleral tunnels. Large one is for tube of valve, small one is for stabilization of plate
Results:
Exposure of tube or plate is decreased in this method
Conclusions:
The two scleral tunnel method increases the success in Ahmed valve implantation FINANCIAL INTEREST: NONE
