Abstract Details
Purpose:
clinical trial case report evaluation of outcomes
Setting:
International Femto-laser center (IFLC)
Methods:
2 eyes of 1 patient had previous ICRs with a residual error were corrected using SMILE technique 8 months after the primary procedures. The residual refractive error, UCVA and BCVA were recorded postoperatively. The cap and lenticule diameters were calculated taking into consideration the ring diameter. The other parameters used were based on the degree of refractive error and central corneal thickness.
Results:
UCVA (Snellen decimal) changed from 0.3 preoperatively to 0.7 postoperatively . The BCVA changed from 0.6 to 0.7+ preoperatively . There was no inoperative or postop complications
Conclusions:
SMILE can be a choice to correct residual myopic astigmatism after stable ICR implant FINANCIAL INTEREST: NONE
