Purpose:
To see the evolution of practice styles of French ophthalmologists
Setting:
Since 1997, I have been surveying French ophthalmology and I present here the results of the twelth French survey about practice styles and preferences of French cataract and refractive surgeons
Methods:
3216 Emails were sent to the French ophthalmologists who are in the SAFIR (French Cataract and Refractive Surgery Society) database. I received 403 answers, which is 12.50%, showing a dramatic decrease compared to the 22.10% last year!
Results:
All the aspects of French cataract and refractive surgery are studied, and also general points concerning the practice of Ophthalmology in France
Conclusions:
This is the 17th survey on French ophthalmologists' preferences during cataract and refractive surgery, with comparison with former surveys FINANCIAL INTEREST: NONE
