Comparison of Aladdin to IOLMaster

Abstract Details
Purpose:
To compare the accuracy of the Topcon EU Aladdin biometer to that of the Zeiss IOLMaster regarding AL, K, and ACD measurements.
Setting:
Clinical practice in Lynwood, CA USA
Methods:
Each patient was examined alternately using both machines. One eye of each of the 130 patients was measured and the results were analyzed.
Results:
There was no clinical difference in any of the measurements although there were statistical differences noted.
Conclusions:
The Aladdin can reliably used for biometry measurement for IOL power calculation for cataract surgery. FINANCIAL INTEREST: NONE
