Abstract Details

Purpose:

To Introduce a news tips to make cataract phacoemulsification an easier and safer procedure

Setting:

Cataract

Methods:

Two new tips has been developed by the autor to avoid the contact of the posterior capsule with the tip hole. The TIP-CHOP can be used as a chopper during the procedure

Results:

The autor will present the instrument, the surgical tecnique and advantages of this new phaco tip. The results of the first 400 cases will be presented. No mayor complications have been experienced at this moment using this instrument.

Conclusions:
