Abstract Details
Purpose:
The study aimed to examine least instrument manipulation into the anterior chamber, and the anterior vitreous through a single wound which was with least liability of endophthalmitis.
Setting:
This retrospective study was carried out on six hundred and fifty subjects with no capsular support to find the efficiency of the procedure and the subsequent complications.

Methods:
A 2mm was away from the limbus. Then two points 180 degree apart scleral sites are localized. The primary incision was started with 2.75 mm keratome then the anterior chamber is maintained with viscoid followed by the insertion of the three pieces intraocular lens. A 27-gauge curved needle at one of the pointed scleral site was inserted to permit act as a receiver for the injected haptic and withdrawn through the sclerotomy. Then cauterized and hidden within the conjunctiva. The same process was repeated for the second haptic. The nterior chamber was washed out with either a coxial irrigation aspiration.

Conclusions:
This method was provided satisfied approach to have minimum access to the globe and lowering down the chance of endophthalmitis.
