Patient satisfaction after bilateral FLACS and sinusoidal trifocale EDOF multifocal IOL implantation

Abstract Details

Purpose:

To analyse the patient satisfaction scores after femtosecond laser Cataract Surgery and implantation of a New Sinusoidal trifocal EDOF Multifocal IOL( Trinova). We will use the Quality Of Vision questionnaire to compare these measurements with the reported Quality of Vision results in the literature of Other trifocale Multifocal iols.

Setting:

Ambulatory Surgical Center Oculus ieper

Methods:

We performed a database prospective study to examine the quality of vision .Fifteen patients (30eyes) were enrolled. The procedure was performed with an LenSx® femtosecond Laser. We analysed the Quality of Vision 3-6 month after the procedure with an VF-14 questionnairy translated into dutch language.

Results:

The 3-6 month results will be presented and compared with previous publications of the same Quality of Vision questionnaire after other trifocal Multifocal iols. .

Conclusions:

We can conclude that the LenSx®femto Cataract surgery  procedure with implantation of a new trifocal Sinusoidal EDOF multifocal iol has a high satisfaction rate.
