Abstract Details
Purpose:
to evaluate AS-OCT findings in patients treated with Implantable collamer lenses for Myopia andf Hyperopia.
Setting:
University Of Siena, Department of Ophthalmology SIENA
Villa Donatello, Department of Ophthalmology, FLORENCE
Methods:
:we evaluated 50 patients treated with ICL implant , AS-OCT (C.S.O. MS39 ) where performed pre operatively and after 1 month 3 months 6 months and 1 year AS-OCT evaluating Photopic, mesopic , and Scotopic measurements, considering ICL vaulting, AC depth, and compared AS-OCT measurements with Scheimpflug findings
Results:
AS-OCT showed reduction in ICL vaulting comparing scotopic to photopic measurements, with mild AC chamber depth reduction
Conclusions:
AS oct permits more accurate evaluations of AS parameters in ICL implant, comparing to sheimpflug cameras.
