Setting:

femtosecond laser usage on human subjects

Methods:

Case reports of two patients diagnosed with retained Descemet's membrane post penetrating keratoplasty. Femtosecond lasers used to cut a window to clear the visual access first, followed by surgical removal of the free floating cut membrane.

Results:

Femtoseconds lasers successfully created a free floating membrane in one patient and partially  in the other.
