Abstract Details

Purpose:

To compare the operability and clinical effects of the contact and liquid-immersed femtosecond laser platforms

Setting:

WUHAN AIER EYE HOSPITAI

Methods:

Randomized controlled study enrolled 93 eyes of femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery in our hospital. They were randomly assigned to the LenSx group (48 eyes) and the LensAR group (45 eyes). Compare the operational parameters of two platforms (docking time, success rate of docking, number of attempts to docking, Lens anterior capsule incision time, pre-nucleation time, suction time, total time of femtosecond laser), related complications (Subconjunctival hemorrhage, elevated intraocular pressure, complete capsulotomy (yes/no), anterior capsule Tear, posterior capsule rupture, IOL 360°optical coverage (yes/no), anterior capsule roundness .

Results:

Docking time of LensAR group, number of attempts to docking, time of anterior lens incision, pre-nucleation time were 9.47±4.33s, 1.0(1 -2)s, 3.0 (2.0-4.00)s, 12.48 ±3.69s are better than the LenSX group 11.99±5.78s, 1.0(1.0-4.0)s, 13.00(9.00-22.00)s, 16.47±3.13s, There was a statistical difference (p<0.05);2, The subconjunctival hemorrhage rate in the LensAR group (6.5%) was lower than that in the LenSX group (22.5%), and the LensAR group had a higher intraocular pressure (6.1±6.0 mmHg) than the LenSX group (3.7±5.3mmHg) was more obvious and there were statistical differences (all p<0.05)

Conclusions:

Both femtosecond laser platforms are safe and effective; LensAR is easy to operate and the learning curve is short; the total duration of laser operation in the LenSX group is shorter, and the intraocular pressure changes before and after laser are more stable.
