Abstract Details

Purpose:

To describe for first time a new technique of lenticular corneal extraction using a low energy femtosecond laser

Setting:

Oftalmosalud Instituto de Ojos Lima Peru

Methods:

we develop a new technique for corneal lenticule extraction , showing a new way for treatment centration , and a new approach for find the right plane for dissect the lenticule using 2 entrance tunnels with adjustable width, diameter and position which guides directly to separation plane (anterior /posterior) using a new low energy femtosecond laser

Results:

first 8 eyes will presented , with Manual x / y position adjustment on Top View Screen with Control of cutting depth and position on OCT screen good correlation for the attempted corneal lenticule thickness and what was obtained

Conclusions:

this new technique using a new femtosecond platform for lenticule extraction ,showed no complication and good corneal transparency in this preliminary results
