Retrospective interventional case series. 4 eyes of 4 patients with acquired iris defects caused by herpetic keratouveitis and trauma were managed with custom made cosmetic contact lens, partial aniriida implant and custom made total artificial iris implant. The partial and custom made total iris implants were combined during cataract surgery.
Results:

The partial and total aniridia implants remained stable in the capsular bag and ciliary sulcus respectively at a mean follow up of 6 years.
