Abstract Details

Purpose:

To see the evolution of practice styles of French ophthalmologists

Setting:

Since 1997, I have been surveying French ophthalmology and I present here the results of the twelth French survey about practice styles and preferences of French cataract and refractive surgeons.

Methods:

3216 Emails were sent to the French ophthalmologists who are in the SAFIR (French Cataract and Refractive Surgery Society) database. I received 711 answers, which is 22.10%, 4.5% less than last year!

Results:

All the aspects of French cataract and refractive surgery are studied, and also general points concerning the practice of Ophthalmology in France

Conclusions:

This is the 16th survey on French ophthalmologistsÂ’ preferences during cataract and refractive surgery, with comparison with former surveys.
