Almost 800 Czech and international delegates attended the Winter Meeting. 381 presentations, 100 electronic posters, 24 surgical skills courses and 49 exhibition companies all contributed to a highly successful meeting.

The new and innovative e-learning solution for ESCRS
members was launched during the Prague Meeting. iLearn
offers educational and didactic material in an engaging and flexible online format. CME accredited courses on cataract, refractive, cornea and basic optics are available.

Sara Silva won first prize in the Cataract category for
her poster entitled ‘Astigmatism changes between the
1st and the 9th month after vertical clear corneal phacoemulsification – same technique, same surgeon’.
Georgios Kymionis won first prize in the Refractive
category for his poster entitled ‘Epithelial removal
during corneal collagen cross-linking: transepithelial phototherapeutic keratectomy versus mechanical
debridement’.
