Purpose:
Evaluation of refractive outcomes of Alcon Acrysof WF and IQ (T2 to T9)aspheric IOLs
Setting:
: Private day surgery centre. Prospective study of IOl implants by 2 surgeons, Dr Richard Smith and Dr Margaret Kearns.
Methods:
Data collected from 200 consecutive primary IOL implant procedures using Alcon Acrysof WF and IQ, aspheric IOLs.
Attempted versus achieved refractive outcomes compared.
Levels of post-op patient satisfaction, spectacle usage and refractive enhancements assessed.
Results:
The IQ series of toric IOLs was releases early 2011. This study is in progress and results will be to hand by end 2011 for this presentation.
