Setting:

: Bina eye hospital, Tehran, Iran.

Methods:

Four eyes of 3 patients (27, 30 and 32 year old) with keratoconus underwent Toric implantable collamer lens implantation. Visual outcomes were assessed before, 1 week, 1, 3 and 6 months after surgery. Uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA), best spectacle-corrected visual acuity (BSCVA), subjective refraction and adverse events were evaluated.

Results:

At 6 months, all eyes gained at least 2 lines of BCVA. UCVA increased at least 2 lines in all except one eye. Spherical equivalent (SE) reduced from -3.50, -2.25, -2.00 and -1.25 to -1.25, -1.75, -1.00 and -0.875 respectively. No postoperative complications were observed in these eyes.
