Purpose:
The purpose - to study features and clinical results of phacoemulsification with implantation IOL «AcrySof IQ with the AcrySert C» (Alcon).
Setting:
: Ophthalmologic clinic SURGERY OF EYE, Samara, Russia
The Samara state medical university, Samara, Russia
Methods:
To 100 patients is elderly 62,4±5,9 years was executed phacoemulsification with implantation IOL «AcrySof IQ with the AcrySert C» (Alcon). Calculation IOL was spent on the apparatus «LENSTAR LS900» on sph 0,0±0,5. At entering BCVA was 0,15±0,01 (from 0,01 to 0,6), IOP was 11,9 ± 3,9 mm hg, length of an axis of an eye 24,41±2,40 (from 21,44 to 27,39 mm), an average refraction of a cornea 43,22±1,29.
Results:
Phacoemulsification was executed on technologies «Phako chope» and «Quick chope»; after container was filled with «Viscoat» (Alcon) IOL «AcrySof IQ with the AcrySert C» was implanted in capsular bag. A number of features of a folding haptic of IOL in a cartridge and in their dynamics of implantation in capsular bag were noted. All operations have passed without complications, IOL are placed in capsular bag, their position stable, lenses are well aligned. At all patients in the postoperative period high visual acuity afar without correction (0,6-1,0) was received. Average spherical clinical refraction 0,38±0,47D. The purpose refraction «sph 0,0±0,5 » was reached at 81 (81 %) patient.
Conclusions:
Using IOL «AcrySof IQ with the AcrySert C» optimizes implantation process, reduces risk of a becoming infected and damage of lenses, provides fast and stable placing of lenses in capsular bag.
