Abstract Details

Purpose:

Presentation of results after implantation of Cachet Phakic IOL in patients with minimum one year follow up.

Setting:

7 eyes (6 patients) with high myopia were treated with Cachet Phakic IOL implantation

Methods:

Visual acuity, the number of endothelium cells and IOP were recorded preoperative and postoperative. Mean follow-up is 20 months.

Results:

Preoperative the average of myopia was -11.00D. Postoperative there was not (myopia-hyperopia) over 0.50D. No significant change was reported in endothelium cells’ number.

Conclusions:

Cachet Phakic IOL constitutes a relatively safe method for patients’ treatment with high myopia when they fulfil the essential conditions. The continuous postsurgical follow up is crucial. FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE?: No
