Purpose:

Architecture is one field where we can explore the visual paths of space and perspective perception.

Setting:

A' Ophthalmologic Clinic, AHEPA Hospital, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki,Greece

Methods:

Several architectural masterpieces and creations are examined as for the design, shape, perspective and lighting.We also used elements of photography and other visual arts to synthesize our view about the aesthetic perception in architecture. We also define one of the fundamendals in architecture, the symbolism.

Results:

We note many parameters that contribute in our visual perception of this art. We realise the dominant role of the light and shape.

Conclusions:
