Abstract Details

Purpose:

To compare the two multifocal IOL's

Setting:

Mission Trust, Bawri Nethralaya

Methods:

30 cases of both Acrysof Restor and Tecnis Multifocal were taken into the study. All the patient had undergone clear corneal phaco emusification.Vision,contrast sensitivity and defocus curve plotting was done 3 weeks after surgery.

Results:

The study showed no statistical difference between the two lenses

Conclusions:

Both the IOL's are promising ,but also have some advantage and disadvantage over each other FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE?: No
