Abstract Details

Purpose:

To determine the visual outcome of the new Zeiss LISa tri 839 MP IOL in far,near and intermediate distance.

Setting:

multicenter prospective study

Methods:

Phacoemulsification and in the bag implantation of the Zeiss LISA trio 839 MP IOL, assessment of far,intermediate and near visual acuity with and without correction.

Results:

Complications: halos in 4%, YAG rate after 3 months 4%. UCVA (mean): distant 0,85; intermediate 0,75; near 0,76.

Conclusions:

This MIOL is an advantage in comparison to bifocal MIOLs with a predictable and stable outcome.Negative side effects are less than in comparable MIOL models.
