Abstract Details

Purpose:

To see the evolution of practice styles of French ophthalmologists

Setting:

Since 1997, I have been surveying French ophthalmology and I present here the results of the twelth French survey about practice styles and preferences of French cataract and refractive surgeons.

Methods:

For the first time, a questionnaire was put online, and the French ophthalmologists received a link by email to answer to the survey. I received 847 answers, compared to the 3208 mails sent, which is 26.40%, better than ever, but with a bias that we will discuss.

Results:

All the aspects of French cataract and refractive surgery are studied, and also general points concerning the practice of Ophthalmology in France

Conclusions:

This is the 15th survey on French ophthalmologists’ preferences during cataract and refractive surgery, with comparison with last year's survey. FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE?: No
