Purpose:
To study and follow up the developments in patients presenting with diminish vision and floaters in both eyes who were diagnosed with toxoplasma retinitis
Setting:
OPD patients for Routine refraction thinking they need glasses due refractive error.
Methods:
Detail patient history, Visual acuity charting, Refraction, Color vision test, Amslers test, Dialated fundus examination, Fundus photos, Investigations, Medical management, Regular follow ups
Results:
Confirmation - Congenital Toxoplasmosis
Conclusions:
Regular follow ups to check for any active satellite lesions , vitritis and floaters and quadruple therapy has kept the patient going with steady vision without disrupting their social, financial and personal life. FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE?: No
