Abstract Details

Purpose:

Study the the near and distance visual outcome by SHWIND AMARIS Prebymax approach

Setting:

Dr Haifa Eye Hospital

Methods:

204 eyes were corrected with PrebyMax approach ( including 6 Pseudophakic and 5 post RK (radial keratotomy) . All patients treated with surfce laser PRK. The preoperative manifest refraction of defocus: -o.5 to +5.25 and astigmatism up to 3.75. The addition up + 2.5. Optical zone was set between 6.5 to 7.5 mm. Analyzes performed for post operative period of 24 - 27 months

Results:

89.4% of hyperopic and hyperopic astigmatism cases had distance visual acuity of 20/20 , and 82% of same group had 20/20 for near visual acuity, while 98% of myopic and myopic astigmatism had visual acuity of 20/20 vision and 95% had 20/20 near vision. regression happened in 6 % of cases

Conclusions:
