Abstract Details

Purpose:

To see the evolution of practice styles of French ophthalmologists

Setting:

Since 1997, I have been surveying French ophthalmology and I present here the results of the nineteenth French survey about practice styles and preferences of French cataract and refractive surgeons.

Methods:

3155 Emails were sent to the French ophthalmologists who are in the SAFIR (French Cataract and Refractive Surgery Society) database. I received 396 answers, which is 12.55%. The worst rate ever (the same that in 2013-2014)

Results:

All the aspects of French cataract and refractive surgery are studied, and also general points concerning the practice of Ophthalmology in France

Conclusions:

This is the 19th survey on French ophthalmologists’ preferences during cataract and refractive surgery, with comparison with former surveys.
