Abstract Details
Purpose:
To compare between the high order aberrations after Femto-assisted Cataract Surgery using two different types of Aspheric IOLs Tecnis 1, and Akreous
Setting:
A prospective, comparative , interventional Randomized study was done using Victus femto second laser platform and inserting Tecnis 1 in one group of 15 eyes and Akreous IOLs in the second group of 15 eyes
Methods:
Femto laser assisted Cataract surgery was done for thirty eyes after doing 'I Tracey Aberrometer' to detect high order aberrations before surgery , and were divided into Two groups of fifteen eyes with one group insertion of Tecnis1 of Abott and the other group Akreous of Baush and Lomb. I Tracey was repeated one month after surgery for both groups. Root mean square, spherical aberration and Coma were measured before and after surgery and compared between both groups
Results:
Improvement of Spherical aberrations was seen in both groups and still results to be submitted on first of july
Conclusions:
Improvement of spherical aberrations was noticed in all cases
