ESCRS Practice Management & Development Marketing Competition
CALLING ALL MARKETING GURUS!
The ESCRS Practice Management and Development Committee is excited to announce the third ESCRS Practice Management and Development Marketing Competition.
The competition judges, chaired by Dr Paul Rosen, will once again be on the lookout for entries that best captured the spirit of the competition – use of the marketing ideas that are shared during the Practice Management and Development workshops and applied by an ophthalmologist and her/his team. In addition, the judges will be on the lookout for creative, ‘out-of-the-box’ marketing ideas for attracting patients in their particular market.
Ideally, it’s a marketing program that’s clearly been developed by an ophthalmologist(s) with the support of the internal team, within a specified budget, that provides a measurable return on investment. On the other hand, entries that are clearly backed with investment from ophthalmic companies will not be as credible as the practices are typically given the necessary funds and support to make the marketing campaign happen.
Entries should consist of a three-to-four-slide presentation that illustrates the campaign, costs, as well as the results. To enter, email: colin@eurotimes.org
Practical points:
• Submissions should be an example of a marketing campaign executed in the past 12 months from date of submission
• Submissions should include the following: Type of marketing campaign; Target audience, i.e., cataract-age patients; Cost of the campaign; Example of the material used
• Submissions should include metrics to demonstrate the effectiveness of the campaign. For example – how many new patients resulted from this campaign?
Submission Deadline: Monday 22 August 2016
The winner of the Marketing Competition will receive a €1,000 bursary and an invitation to present during the XXXV Congress of the ESCRS in Lisbon, Portugal.
