Abstract Details

Purpose:

To present the postoperative objective and subjective visual performance evaluation after envista toric IOL implant with victus femtosecond cataract procedure.

Setting:

The aim is to evaluate the optical aberrations and the visual performance in cataract patients with envista toric IOL implant with victus femtosecond cataract procedure and the result in visual quality of capsulorhexis centration and position with femtosecond cataract procedure in toric IOL implant using the visual quality optical metrics.

Methods:

We selected 40 cataracts eyes, and we implanted envista toric b+l IOL and we then evaluated results based on the following examinations; preoperative phase: • biometry with IOL master system (srkt formula) • capsulorhexis with victus femtosecond laser platform • nucleus fragmentation with victus femtosecond laser platform • clear cornea phacoemulsification, 2,2 mm incision, with stellaris MICS platform • Nidek OPD-Scan III aberrometrical evaluation at 4.5mm pupil diameter (visual quality metrics evaluation with modulation transfer function graph – area ratio, total PSF- Strehl ratio) postoperative phase: • best corrected visual acuity at far distance • follow-up 3 months • OPD-Scan III aberrometrical evaluation (visual quality: total MTF: area ratio, total PSF – Strehl ratio, internal longitudinal spherical aberration amount data in microns at 4.5mm of pupil diameter, internal coma amount data in microns at 4.5 mm of pupil diameter.) • OPD-Scan III capsulorhexis position and centration examination with retroillumination module (pupil under dilation) • OPD-Scan III toric IOL axis alignment position with retroillumination module (pupil under dilation).

Results:

Under examination.

Conclusions:

Under evaluation.
