The geometric surgery is a new technique to treat the pterygium. Its advantages are the surgical easiness, the gain of the time, and especially the preservation of the conjunctive capital. The aim of this presentation is to describe the technic and its advantages.

Setting:

Ophthalmology service of Moulay Ismail military hospital Meknes morocco

Methods:

We report a case of  a recur pterigium  seen in Ophthalmology service of Moulay Ismail military hospital Meknes in 2019

Results:

it's a case of a pterygium grade IV, which recurs three times after conjunctival autograft surgery. The pterygium concerns approximativly the 1/3 of the conjunctival capital  so the surgery with autograft was found to be unsuitable in this case. The use of surgery geometric with double procedure allowed savings conjunctival with radical cure without recurrence after 4 years
