Results:
A 24-year-old soldier was referred to our department with the complaint of blurred vision in the right eye 10 days after the projection of foreign body. Slit lamp examination revealed a closed corneal wound, a mild anterior uveitis and an intralenticular non metallic foreign body causing a total white cataract in the right eye. He underwent a phacoaspiration and removal of the foreign body .The posterior capsule was intact so we implanted an intraocular lens in the capsular bag with good visual outcome.
Conclusions:
Management of the intralenticular foreign body depends on its characteristics ,the integrity of the capsular bag and associated ocular lesion.
