A study conducted in South Korea has shown worsening symptoms of dry eye after cataract surgery compared to preoperative measures.
The benefit in terms of quality of life in patients under artificial tears has been demonstrated in our study as well as in other studies.
Improving a patient's quality of life involves reducing the negative functional impact of his illness and treatment. Our study, like others, has allowed us to demonstrate that ocular surface preparation prior to phacoemulsification improves the quality of life of patients
