Abstract Details
Purpose:
We analyzed the biometrics and topographic data, SIA pattern, the total corneal power measurements using the ASCRS formula to find the power of the lenses to implant.
Setting:
Madrid Quiron University Hospital c/ Diego de Velazquez, 1 28223 Pozuelo de AlarcÃ³n (Madrid)
Methods:
Using IOLMASTER 700, Pentacam HR, ATLAS 9000, Optovue and, the ASCRS formula in patients previusly submitted to refractive surgery, analyzing 2 groups of 20 patients (N=20 each group) Group A: Patients on which there was information available prior to refractive surgery Group B: There was no information
Results:
Group A: An average spheric equivalent of -0,250 Group B: -0,214 The best formula for the 'group A' was SHAMMAS and for the 'Group B' was was MASKET
Conclusions:
