Abstract Details

Purpose:

To share clinical visual outcomes after implantation of MF30 rotational asymmetric refractive intraocular lens.

Setting:

Universal Eye Center, Zhong-Li, Taiwan.

Methods:

This retrospective study comprises results after 239 eyes of 101 patients were implanted of Lentis Mplus LS-313 MF30. We evaluated the preoperative uncorrected distance visual acuity (UDVA), postoperative UDVA and postoperative uncorrected near visual acuity (UNVA).

Results:

Two hundred thirty nine eyes of 101 patients were evaluated between Nov. 2015 and Feb. 2017. The mean monocular UDVA changed from 0.48 logMAR Â± 0.28 (SD) preoperatively to 0.06 logMAR Â± 0.10 postoperatively (P=0.019). Postoperative UNVA was 95% achieving J4 or better.

Conclusions:

Excellent visual acuities and refractive outcomes were achieved in this study. In 239 consecutive eyes, MF30 rotational asymmetric refractive intraocular lens proved to be safe and efficient at restoring near vision while preserving distance vision.
