The wavefront aberrations changing of Hole-Visian implantable collamer lens: a early clinical observation

Purpose:
Purpose :To observe the wavefront aberrations after 1 month of implantable collamer lens(ICL) with central hole(Hole ICL)
Setting:
VISX Wavescan、pentacam
Methods:
Methods : We test high arch of len in 1week and 1month after surgry, and we used one objected instrument (VISX Wavescan)to test the wavefront higher-order aberrations、spherical aberration、coma、trefoil of preoperated and 1month after surgry.
Results:
Result: The proportion of comparisons between UCVA of 1 month after ICL and BCVA before surgery increased 0~1,2,3 rows are 75.0%、16.7%,8.3%. There is no statistically significant differences in high arch between 1week and 1month after surgry(P>0.05).In wavefront aberrations, no statistically significant differences in the wavefront higher-order aberrations and coma, moreover, the spherical aberration increased (t=2.11.p=0.045),and trefoil decreased (t=-3.645,p-0.001),both spherical aberration and trefoil changed after 1month of surgry have statistical significance.
Conclusions:
Conclusion: the outcomes showed that high arch didn’t change after ICL with central hole, and some kinds of wavefront aberrations really changed.
