Purpose:

To expose 3 cases with loss of stability in hidrofilic lenses fixed with prolene sutures.

3 patients come to office with subluxated hidrofilic iols. We reattached the iols with prolene 10.0 suture to the sulcus passing across two eyelets of the iols. In this 3 cases the suture pass across the material with the consequence of subluxation of the iol again.

Hidrofilic iols will not be apropiate to suture in sulcus with prolene suture
