Implantation of SML (A45AMD, Medicontur, Hungary) in pseudophakic eyes and advaced AMD. Preoperative BCDVA, BCNVA at 40 cm and 15cm, postoperative BCDVA, BUCNVA at 15cm were recorded.
Results:
SML implantation was uneventfull in all cases. BCDVA was same pre- and postoperative, while BCNVA improved 4 lines (40 cm with +2.0D vs. SML at 15 cm) and 2 lines (15 cm with +6.0D vs SML at 15 cm).
