Purpose:
To report a new technique surgery of pupilloplasty in corectopia and secondary amblyopia.
Setting:
La Mancha Centro Hospital.

Methods:
We present a 5 years old girl diagnosed of Sturge Weber syndrome and congenital glaucoma in the right eye who was derived from another hospital to control intraocular pressure . Presents Ahmed valve implant complicated with iris incarceration in the same eye. The exam reveals a poor visual acuity in right eye 0.1 and good perform of the left eye 1.
First, through a inferior temporal paracentesis we pulled the upper section trying to release this area. Subsequently, using a bimanual technique and 23 Gauges retina forceps and scissors a pupillary enlargement is done achieving a circular centered pupil.
Results:
The surgical outcome was excellent with progressive recovery of the visual acuity in the right eye.
Conclusions:
Surgical pupilloplasty is an complementary treatment for patients with secondary ampliopia due to a severe corectopia, either congenital or acquired. FINANCIAL DISCLOUSRE: NONE
