Purpose:

To refer a patient with an eyeworm under conjuctiva, treated surgically in our clinic

Setting:

University Hospital Center 'Mother Theresa' Tirana

Methods:

We report a human case of ocular infection due to a parasit under bulbar conjuctiva with a range of clinical manifestation, like burning, itching,redness and a permanent discomfort of his right eye with

Results:

Ophthalmologic examination showed a nematode under the bulbar conjunctiva of the right eye of the patient, and surgery for the removal of the nematode was done, then the nematode was examined in laboratory

Conclusions:

Ocular parazitosis, especially those with parasite under bulbar conjuctiva are very rare in albania. the only way of treatment is surgicall excision FINANCIAL DISCLOUSRE: NONE
