Setting:
Roayah vision center
Methods:
prospective non comparative case series carried out on 84 myopic eyes treated with SMILE
from 2010. UCVA, BSCVA, manifest refraction and contrast sensitivity were measured in all cases
Results:
Results:Mean preoperative uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA) was 0.04 (range: 0.02-0.1), mean
CDVA was 0.7 (range: 0.4-1.0), and SEQ was -12.8 (range: -10 to -14). All these parameters showed
statistically significant change in the postoperative period (P < .01). Mean postoperative UCVA, BSCVA,
and SEQ were 0.8 (range: 0.4-1.0), 0.8 (range: 0.5-1.0), and -0.75 (range: -3.5-+1.75), respectively. a few
