Ekcimer laser correction of myopia with femtolaser in corneal thickness 450-500 micron

Abstract Details

Purpose:

To evaluate safety of femto lasik in myopic patient with corneal thickness between 450-500 micron

Setting:

National Center of Ophthalmology named after academician Zarifa Aliyeva

Methods:

30 myopic patient 20 women, 10 men operated with Wavelight FS200 and Wavelight from 2018 to 2020. All patients underwent Refraction, Oculyzer, Topolyser. Flaps were created with the FS200 Femtosecond laser.

Results:

Mean refractory error before surgery was minus 4.5 and after surgery minus 0.75. We did not have corneal ectasia after surgery in above examination Mean VA after surgery without correction was 20/25.

Conclusions:

Femto laser with use of Wavelight Femto second 200 Surgical Laser is very safe procedure for corneal thickness 450-500 micron.
