Abstract Details

Purpose:

Analyze the functional results and the peri and postoperative complications of cataract surgery

Setting:

Privede Clinic El Khroub, Constantine Algéria

Methods:

Retrospective study on 72 eyes for a period of 10 years, a female predominance 70% average age: 28 Follow-up and required up to 36 months

Results:

Postoperative: • Visual acuity> = 7/10 70% • Ocular hypertonia: 3 cases • PCO: 5 cases • Capsilophimosis: 1 cases Discussion : - Good prognosis - Interest of regular post-operative monitoring  HTO: 3 cases (4%)  PCO: 5 cases (7%)

Conclusions:

After diagnosis, the cataract surgery procedure and safe, good visual recovery The only precautions are  preoperative inflammatory assessment  postoperative follow-up to research, in particular HTO
